Girls Camp and 4th of July

This last week was crazy full!!  I loved it... Tons of people all the time.  It was great!  On Tuesday we went up to Girls Camp at the beautiful Camp Ho-Nok.  It was so much fun!  We had a lot of time to just sit and hang out with the girls.  I made some new friends and my other friends and I got closer.  The skits were hilarious as always!  The theme of the whole girls camp was Temples. It was a great theme.  I felt the spirit a lot up there.  My testimony was definitely strengthened while I was up there.  Each ward for devotional chose a temple and to theme there camp around. Cokeville 2nd Ward chose the Hong Kong temple.  It was a very fun week...

This Saturday was a lovely 4th of July!  We sold some T-Shirts for out class fund raiser.  (We still have some.  If you want one, call me).  The highlight of the day was a rib barbecue last night at Aunt Linda's.  Olivia also MCed the Little Miss Cokeville Pageant.  She did great.  In the Patriotic Program the choir sang.  Me and Mom are in the choir.  Also, I played a trumpet duet with Jonathan.  It was a great day!!

Weber, Weber, Weber

So, it pretty much seems like I've lived there the past three weekends.  Weber State puts on some great team camps, so our teams go.  The first time we went down it was with our younger girls on the basketball team.  Well, pretty much just the seniors were gone, but Lauren was injured, so we were in a lower division.  It was good and we got a lot of playing time, but it's just not as fun when you don't win.  Then the next weekend we went down for volleyball.  That was a lot of fun, and I went with a whole different group of girls.  It was just us junior and senior girls that went.  The first day we had pool play and played 7 teams two games to 25.  We won them all, so it made it really fun.  The next day we went into tournament play, and didn't play quite as well and took 4th.  One of the best parts was we got to stay the night, so we didn't have to go down and back twice.  Then just this last Friday and Saturday we went back to Weber for basketball again.  The first day we had five girls, Katelyn, Celinda, McKenzie, Tessa, and I.  It was fun, and Tessa loved it because she got to play the "5."  She was especially proud when she actually got the ball in a post-up and scored!  The next day was even better because Lauren and Holly came and we got subs!  They were at EFY the day before, so we'll forgive them.  So, I'm pretty sure I'm not going back to Weber anytime soon, and that is okay with me.  We have Girl's Camp this next week and I ams so excited.  Maybe the next post will be a little better and will have some pictures from our fun.  So, this post is lame, the next should be better, but oh well, now maybe Tessa will stop nagging me about it:)

The kids!

Here are some pictures of the kids that are still at home.  I just thought that I needed to make a blog and these were the best pictures I could find.  Also I need your opinion.  A lot of people lately have been saying that Olivia and I could be twins, just I have darker features than her.  People that don't even know us but have seen us, ask if we are related.  Like this one time, I was at a Jr. High track meet in Rock Springs.  I was lined up for the 800 meter run.  I was behind two Snake River girls.  They turned around and looked at me and said, "Are you related to that little blonde point guard from Cokeville?"  I said, "Yeah, that's my sister."  Then they were like, "I knew it, I knew you were related some how.  You look so much alike."  Like 2 minutes later, they turned back around and said, "It is weird how much you look like her."  And that isn't the only story.  A lot of people think we look a lot alike.  I don't know what to think.  You tell me.  Could we be twins, or are we totally different?

Boy am I gonna miss these guys when I am the only one home!

Us!  We all fit into a little hammock swing.  It was awesome!

Olivia and I!

Ok, judge these ones.  Are we same same?

Livi, so cute!

Me!

The choice is yours.  Help us decide if we are same same, or not!

70's Babes!

This is what goes on when we get bored here in Cokeville.  Well actually we weren't bored, we were being ourselves!  These are Mom's clothes from high school!  When Sadie and Hannah were here, we decided to do something spontaneous!  It rocked!  We had a lot of fun with our friends.
Sadie Willardson was here these last two weeks and we had a blast!  We laughed so hard everyday!  We are sad she is gone.  Our house was more joyous with her around.  Now she is far far away in Alaska, in her igloo, and with her cute pet polar bear.  I hope she has a good time.  Also these past two weeks we had camps: volleyball and basketball.  They both went really well.  Last week was volleyball camp from Tuesday thru Saturday.  Then we had basketball camp Monday and Tuesday this week and we go to Weber basketball team camp on Friday and Saturday!  It will be so fun!  Summer, and all the beauties of it!
(Beware, Pictures Galore!)

Here is a picture of all the 70's babes!  These are Mom's old clothes!  Fun times!!
Bethaney had to leave before we went to The J for dessert, but here are the others of us, being our true selves!

We liked to call ourselves, The Geek Squad!  Aren't we beautiful?!  haha

These were our two Amish girls, or Pioneers, we couldn't decide!

Here are the close ups of us all... Our dear friend Lauren Beth!

Bethaney Briggs! ... look at her ankle... it looks weird...

Hannah Pieper!

Sadie Willardson!

Olivia Teichert! ... those pants elongated her rear end... It was hott!!

and Me!
Funny story to go along with these next pics.  We seriously went up to the Flying J!  We wanted dessert, but we knew we had limits.  The pants were so tight, we didn't have much room for anything else.  But when we got up there... of course there were people.  Here are some of the looks we got from them.  Serious!

Scared?... I think so!

Confused?... tell me about it!

Uncle Bill... what a look!

We had a blast and laughed so hard.  Then we walked some of the way home and more people saw us, but we didn't care.  We were a group of friends doing things that make us happy.  Friends are great and we should never leave them out to dry!  So many good times can be had with friends!  Keep them close!

GRADUATION!!

Here's the boys eating.

Mylie didn't want her picture taken, so this is the best one I could get.
This is what Kimball and Mariah were doing pretty much the whole dinner...
With grandpa of course as their supervision...(out of the way of everything)
Now is where a lot of pictures come in.  I uploaded every picture we took of the actual graduation, and so you might see quite a few of what you think are kind of the same thing.  These are for you Vi, so you can see it step by step.
Here's the class as soon as they were done with their walk.
Sitting down reading their programs.
The band played the first piece, "Last Ride of the Pony Express."  Yea, I put the picture of the flutes on there, because I am one, and we pretty much rock!
Then the choir sang a song called "Get a Job."  It was pretty funny.
The speakers were valedictorian, Andrew Petersen, and salutatorian, Derrick Moody, and then the guest speaker was Coach Nate.  They all did a great job.
Here they all are listening to the speakers.
Sulli heading to get his diploma.
He's got it!!
I love this picture.  He's such a great brother.   I'll miss him terribly.  Good thing we have all summer...huh.
Us three kids at graduation.
And us as we truly are:)
Sorry you missed it Vi, but hopefully this will do.

???

I am baffled about what to write a blog about.  This weekend was State Track and Taffy already made a sweet blog about that.  But I love State Track!  It is so much fun!  Everything about it pretty much is fun.  The sun, the events, the tension between runners, the bus ride (for me it is anyways), and the snowcones.  Those are definitely yummy!  But as for results, Taffy posted those.
Also, today is Tel's birthday!  So that is fun!  He is so cute.  He is now two years old.  He was at the track meet, but he didn't really understand what was going on, so he didn't care.  Oh well, he is still WAY cute!  I love that kid.  But I am sorry to say, Sullivan took over the spot of favorite with Tel.  It makes me sad, but I guess he can choose.  Now I am getting to work on TWO of my nieces and nephews:  Kimball and Mariah.  They love me!  They always smile and chuckle at me.  It is great!  They are cuties too.  I think all of my nieces and nephews are cute.  Here are some cute pictures of them.  So cute!!

Making cookies with Olivia!  And I wonder why I'm not the favorite?.. haha, just kidding!

I honestly think this is a really great picture of Connor dribbling!  So cute!

Mariah.  That is the face she always makes at me!  Love it!!

Kimball.  He smiles at me.  I obviously wasn't taking the picture.  Haha...

My five cute nieces and nephews!!  I love them!!

Happy Birthday Tel!!  Love you buddy!

Same Same!

This weeks blog is about the "same same girls".  There are two very cute girls in our family that happen to be best friends because they are same same.  Mylie Jo and Olivia.  When Mylie comes, or all the grandkids as a matter of fact, aunts and uncles do the usual routine.  "Who's you're favorite?"  "Remember when I took you on the bike ride that one time?"  "I gave you ice cream!"  You know, we say it just because we want to hear that we are their favorite!  Tell me if you do this, cuz we do.  But not with Mylie.  You are not her favorite because you took her on a bike ride or gave her ice-cream.  You are here favorite because you have the same color hair and same color eyes.  You have to paint her nails and play princess.  She gets to do your hair and be with you a lot.  So, we just quit asking her.  We already know it is Olivia.  Livi has "blonde hair, and blue eyes", just like Mylie.  They are so similar.  They take things to the extremes.  Just kidding, but they are even the same in pictures.  Check these out!

This picture was taken around Christmas time.  Notice her one eye is red.

Now the same thing with Mylie.  Both have red left eyes!

This is a cute one.  They are good at smiling and their hair is blonde and both eyes really are blue!
