Life...

I realize I haven't blogged in a while, and I feel I need to apologize to my sisters that have blogs. I now understand that it isn't always the easiest thing to do to keep up on my blog. So, I am sorry that I used to tell you that you should post more often. Anyways...
Basketball has been going pretty good. We have lost one game so far and hope to keep doing well. In Encampment last week, my sister Olivia, scored 28 points! Funny story, there is a kid that plays for Lone Peak High School. He is the little brother of Tyler Haws, a B.Y.U. basketball player. He is a freshman point guard. The other week he scored 31 points in a game against Alta. When Dad told this to Livi, she was like, I couldn't score 31 points in a game with no defense. Well she was pretty stinkin close, so way to go Livi! This week we played Snake River. They are a pretty good team, pretty young too. We had a good win against them. It's good to try out our skills on a good team like them. During that game, this is what happened...

Pretty, eh? I think it is cool! I wish I had sweet battle marks! Lucky!! Then yesterday we played Lyman High School. They are a really good 3A team. We beat them too. So we had two pretty tough games this week and we are pooped! But that's about all that's goin' on in this household!

Merry Christmas?

For our Christmas we got 2 knee surgeries, and Livi got her wisdom teeth out! Merry Christmas? Our house looks like a hospital room. Well, not really, but we have two recliners for the boys and it looks pretty good! I am healthy though, yay for health! Everyone thinks it would be amazing to be the only healthy one, and for some reasons it is. But when you start hearing this... "Tessa, can you get me a drink?" "Tessa, can you go downstairs and get something for me?" "Tessa, can you get me some toast?"... you start to wonder. But the rewarding thing is this... "Thanks Tess." "Thank you so much." That makes me feel good that my family says thank-you. Here are some pictures of our cripples.
Tyson. He moved out of his chair so he could use the computer with ease. :)
This is Tyson's knee. We haven't undone Sulli all the way, but he looks something like this too.
Sullivan. Thanks Aunt Linda for the extra chair.
Olivia. She is smiling her biggest. So, the movie "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakqual" came out today, and I'm surprised Olivia wasn't in it.
Livi icing her sore cheeks.

Merry Christmas!

Hey There Folks!

I don't have any pictures of anything new and exciting, so this is more like a blog with no pictures :). First off, we have had our first basketball games these last two weekends. Last weekend we had the Hanna Tournament where we played Saratoga, Wright, and Lingle. We won all three games. Then this weekend we played North Gem and got whooped, and on Saturday we played Dubois and won. So that's the sports world in this house because for the first time in 8 years, we don't have a wrestler... crazy!!
This weekend has also been pretty sweet because on the 11th Sulli had his 19 birthday, Mylie turned 4 on the 12th, and Vi and Austin are having there 1 year anniversary today. So here's to you guys.
Sullivan is such a good brother. He is always smiling and he is always positive. Sullivan likes to eat my mom's food and play with his friends. He is a good brother and I love when he comes home... every weekend!
Mylie Jo is such a little cutie! She turned 4 yesterday and she didn't even turn into an ugly little boy. All during Thanksgiving break the boys (Sulli and Tyson) kept telling her that she would turn into a little ugly brother for Connor once she was 4 and she just wouldn't believe it. It was funny! But we are glad that she is still a little girl and cute as ever!
Violet, my wonderful sister is married to an Awesome man, Austin. We are so happy for them. I absolutely LOVE when they come and visit! Violet is so nice and she is really good at remembering people and knowing when someone needs her. And Austin is good at making me laugh and he is a nice teaser. They are awesome and we are glad that we have them!
And lastly, I am so excited for Christmas this year! Tonight we are starting candle-lighting, our families "12 Days of Christmas" tradition! And I love all of the Christmas movies that are on. My favorite that I've seen this year is probably "The Ultimate Gift". I LOVE that movie! If you haven't seen it, you should. Christmas is a great time of year! Merry Christmas!!

Thoroughly Modern Millie

This weekend was our school musical: Thoroughly Modern Millie. It was a lot of fun to do and perform. In my opinion the casting was perfect and I loved it all. Here are some pictures of Olivia and I in the play. They are not all the same size because I was hurrying to downsize them. So, here are the pictures.

Here is me. I am a stenog. I work in Trevor Graydon's Office. All of my pictures look like poop. In this first picture I am laboriously writing on a note pad a conversation that is taking place in my head.
Here is me with some of my stenog friends. We are doing the Can-Can and look like we are just squawking around flailing our legs. But trust me, in the actually performance, not a still frame, we looked like real can-canners.
Now we have pictures of Olivia. In her pictures, she looks like she was ready for the camera. She looks rather stunning in the Roaring 20's. The night frame shots (black and white) really add to the affect of these pictures.

Olivia and her dance partner Bronson, did a great job of working together on the tough choreography of this opening number.
Here is Olivia and her friends, the Moderns. They are reading about Whayt Slavary. (That was a southern accent, p.s.) Aren't they adorable!
Opening number again. Doesn't she look like she was ready and posed perfectly for this picture?
This is my favorite of her. She looks so serene.
Anyways, that was our play. We had a great time. We are happy it is over but can't wait for next year to roll around, all the same. Go Drama Club!! haha :)

Tami's Hair!!!

Tami got a VERY cute hair cut by my mom! I absolutely LOVE it! After I saw it, I told my mom, "I think my hair has quit growing." But really, I just loved Tami's hair cut so much, I wanted to cut mine too. Here are some pictures of her new do!

I think it is a very good hair cut! I LOVE IT!!

Fall!

So, here are our real school pictures. We didn't order the ones from the school. But my last blog title had to deal with school pictures, so I named this one Fall instead! Ellen Thompson did our photos again this year. She does such a good job! It is just Livi and I and we took a lot. Here are a few.

Livi First!

Now me!

School Picture Day

Oh the joys of high school picture day! Here's how it went yesterday.
Picture Guy: "Line up tallest to shortest. Make it quick. You sir, back row. You three right up there too. Ma'am, row 2. You, you, and you, by her. The rest of you, front row. O.K. slide over just a touch, hands behind your back, feet together, looking right at me..." (Breath)
Flash, A blinding light.
P.G.: 2 more. Stay right there. (flash, flash) Packets here, tickets here. Next! Alright, sit there, hands in lap, feet right there, turn your head a tiny... (Breath)
Flash, black dots appear from the bright light.
P.G.: Next!
It went to fast, that no one had time to worry about their hair or zits. Picture Day!!
